What I ate this weekend and BEST Run and eat November
Hello!! How's it going? What is your favorite part of the month? How long did you run? How much did you eat? Why do I ask so many questions? Maybe because I need a friend?
Anyway. Let's talk about what I ate this weekend and the best of November!
Firstly, this weekend I participated in the semi-marathon "Reindeer Ignition". This is at riverside. Santa is there. Resume soon.
What I ate this weekend – or at least the main points …
Friday night – I went on a date. With a guy I see regularly. We had Thai food – this is my favorite.
And we tried a new dish that the restaurant is famous for – fried eggplant with chicken.
Happy night dessert – here forever.
Saturday fun …
We went to the Big Park in Orange County. This is a large park in the south of the state of California that I haven’t explored yet – until recently. I ran there once, and this was my second visit.
We wanted to get up in a balloon, but it was closed due to the wind.
I always see this HUGE orange balloon in the sky, as I live my little life (read: I'm going to run or go to Costco for pizza). I do not know whether he is considered a real balloon, because he does not go anywhere – just up and down. If I ever get up into this, I will share more.
On the way home, I saw a sign that reads about some open construction sites that insisted that we stop.
I love to look at new home construction! They are beautifully furnished and smell fashionable. I wanted to talk about the tour in history, but in the end I captured my reaction with wide eyes. Ha!
After half marathon on Sunday …
I went to see my brother, sil and nieces. We went to church and then had lunch. There was also coffee in their church, a lot of pastries and treats! God is good.
Important note –
I was very excited about where Coke Zero was. I love Coke Zero. I can't drink diet cola anymore!
And every time I go to a restaurant, I ask: “Do you have Coke Zero?”, And in 89% of cases they are not, and I just ask for water or tea.
I think my BF seems to be very bad (oh, he probably thinks dietary soda is bad for me), but I would rather die early and happily drink poison than deprive myself of happiness and be complacent. And I will continue to ask, even if it seems that they have a chance of 1 to 10, because it makes me so happy.
And finally, I had a cookie, like on my winning lap / after the race. I love cookies. And ice cream. A cake is a chocolate cake. (I'm hungry)
Oh – and this is National Cookie Day !! Do you have any cookies today?
Ahhh !! It's hard because I ran the half-marathon in Rock and Roll in Las Vegas, and it's so fun to run along the Strip !!
Then I ran the Lexus Lace Up Palos Verdes Half Marathon – it's so gorgeous right on the coast!
I say this is a tie.
Rock and Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon
Lace Up Palos Verdes Half Marathon –
I was going to repeat this on a podcast, and now I have half of Riverside to summarize as well! So soon. But in my Instagram post there is a mini resume, and I thanked the other IG runners.
4 Ingredients Baked Brie Recipe
This is my new favorite thing !! It is so good and so simple!
I think Minimalist Christmas wish list is very useful.
And with half the summary of Vegas, I shared – What to eat for the race at the end of the day video
