So, I posted last week about the start of CICO. My SW – 230, GW – 200; I am 5 10 10 and a woman. My daily calorie limit is 1778, as recommended by MyPlate, to lose 1 pound per week
That's how I did my first week! I can not make him show his first day instead of today's 0 calories, but it was ~ 1500 cal.
So far, I find it pretty simple! The only day I actually went over (and only a little!) Is the second day when we finished ordering pizza. It was pretty close yesterday because I ate a lot of breakfast, knowing that I couldn’t eat again until 6 pm, but I managed to stay under Greek salad with fried chicken for dinner!
It seems my ideal strategy is to have a very light ~ 200-frequent meal for breakfast and lunch, an afternoon snack bar of ~ 150 calories, and then, having 1000 calories left for dinner for dinner and sleep, since I do not a lot of control over dinner when my mom cooks for the family. When I eat more during the day, it’s more from boredom than from hunger.
I sometimes find that from time to time I think about food, but it's usually easy to just pull it out of it, because I can still eat all my favorite foods, unlike keto. Gives me something to count on. 🙂
I have not started the exercise yet, because I am still trying to get my body to get used to calorie deficiency before I start exercising in this state, but my plan is to start practicing yoga with Adrienne this week or next time.
As soon as I get exercise for a few weeks, and I’m used to a small calorie deficit, I’ll probably turn on the intensity and go for 1.5 or 2 pounds. week, but I do not want to make too many major lifestyle changes, for fear that my body will hate me.
