These processed foods can kill you (and how to avoid them) – True workouts

With such a list, how can we try to eat cleaner and avoid these processed foods?

Avoiding processed foods is all about educating yourself about how terrible they are for our health, and then knowing how to implement some healthier alternatives.

1) Preparation is key

Most processed foods are bought and sold because of how fast or convenient they are, and so much of them are ahead of them to avoid these unhealthy products. Taking 2 hours on weekends or another day, you can cut vegetables and fruits for snacks, and make some healthy choices for the week – it's worth it! 2) Select Whole Foods Over Packaged Foods

As a rule, the more “whole” is food, the better it will be for you! With meat, this can mean buying raw chicken breasts over some packaged, ready-to-eat chicken dinner meat. Instead of turning into highly processed minced sugar, try making organic oatmeal instead. You can add your favorite fruits, some nuts or even coconut shavings on top to make it more fun.

3) Read the labels

If you think that a pack of crackers looks healthy, but then you read the label and cannot even pronounce half the ingredients, this means that the food is processed very well. When you begin to see a bunch of chemicals and dyes listed in the ingredients, find out that your body and brain will suffer. Start reading labels for some of your favorite snacks today, and I'm sure you'll be surprised.

4) Avoid refined grains and refined sugars.

If you want to reduce inflammation and live a healthy brain, body and waist, then avoiding the refined grains is key. Refined grains include products made from fortified wheat flour, white flour, white rice, corn flour, etc. D. And so on. Instead, go to options such as quinoa, brown rice, whole oats, and organic whole wheat flour (if wheat gives you no problem)

Refined sugars are hidden everywhere and consumed in quantities that would not even be considered possible only 40 years ago. They hide under names like sucrose, agave nectar, aspartame, high-fructose corn syrup, honey, neotame, stevia extract, saccharin, sucralose, sugar alcohols, etc. Be sure to check your yogurts, bread, drinks, crackers and other snacks to make sure they are filled with these delicious sugars and avoid them at all costs.

5) "Low fat" and "Fat-free" does not mean healthy

When you make low-fat and low-fat foods, the fat is taken out, and then, to make these foods still tasty, they are filled even more unhealthy and recycled ingredients. Fat-free and fat-free yogurts, dairy products, ice cream, crackers, etc. They are not healthy alternatives. It is better to go with full options or choose fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables or nuts.

6) A healthy diet is not tantamount to deprivation.
