Hello! How's it going? I just run and eat aah and I found the NEW hot sauce I'm obsessed with!
And Diego was simply his most interesting personality … I told him that he looks like the most interesting dog in the world. I don't think he got a joke, though. Well.
Remain thirsty, my friends.
In food news …
The salad season is alive and well!
And I found a new hot sauce, without which I can’t believe that I survived.
It was lunch yesterday … greens, mini peppers, cabbage, chickpeas, those fried onion things, dressing
And my new favorite salad, sandwich, eggs, all with topper sauce.
This is the Peri-Peri Nando – Garlic sauce over medium heat. (I got it from my usual grocery store – nothing out of the ordinary.)
I do not think it is hot – I would call it soft. It is definitely not as hot as Sriracha.
It tastes like tomato-vinegar sauce with garlic and a little heat. I like it. It reminds me of a more fragrant buffalo sauce.
Have you tried this?
Have you tried other versions of this ?? I want to go back to the store and try everything that Nando did. I want to meet with Nando! I want Nando to be on the podcast so we can talk about all the hot sauce !! Nando – please contact me! I love you.
I just made it weird?
Well, don't be surprised, just try the sauce so Nando’s sales soar and he or she feels obligated to attend the show.
K. Thank you.
I know that they have 4 more aroma / heat levels! So I have to get my dirty big hands on them as soon as possible !!
In the current news …
My training schedule was 7 miles with success. But … I did not make progress, because when I finish my runs, it is not very convenient. I can't make them at the end of my run or anywhere else in the last mile. So I missed them and was very upset about myself, knowing that I should go somewhere else to run.
But – I decided to make it work.
I parked 1 mile from the end of the run and took steps there. Boom.
This is a lot for the park and is usually quite empty, with the exception of a few cars owned by other runners and pedestrians.
Done and done!
And finally, in the Golden Retriever news …
Tucker and Diego hung out at my friend's house yesterday. My friend is not in the city, and I hung out with my friend all day. When I went home on my way home to pick up Diego, I found socks all over the yard (and one pair of choney)!
They had never done this before – but mainly because I don't think they had access. I suspect it was mainly Diego – he loves to slurp on his toes! He tore several holes in my socks and grabbed them recently washed so that they would run again (otherwise smelly)!
But someone punched a hole in my friend Inginji’s bizarre socks, which, I swear, will bring him a lot of luck, joy and magical abilities when he plays tennis! Drain it.
Puppies don't say though. They refuse to admit or point their paw at another. And when I ask them – they just think that I offer refreshments! So I think we will never know …
Unless … the sock got stuck in the dryer and a hole did not form when someone pulled it out – not realizing it. Then my friend packed it in his gym bag … but on the way to the car he fell and ended up on the grass … where Diego found him and picked it up with the intention of finding his rightful owner … but before this could happen I caught him red-handed … with red paws and a holey sock in his mouth !!
Case is closed.
If you like hot sauce … check out this post about my trip to the factory in Sriracha!
