Michael Strahan definitely appreciates the best things in life. October Men's magazine Cover Star collects mechanical watches, loves traveling all over Europe and is a big fan of golf. We can add one more thing to this list: cars. Behind the scenes on our cover photo, Strahan made it clear that he loved them. But ask him to choose only one trip? This is a much more complicated question.
“I don’t have a loved one,” he said. Men's magazine, "This is problem."
Let's rephrase – if he could sit in the driver's seat a few more times, what kind of cars would Strahan follow? Easy: his Porsche Carrera GT with a V10 engine will be at the top of the list, and he has a special place in his heart (and probably also in his garage). He noted that his monstrous 603-horsepower engine was originally developed for Formula 1 racing, so this car can really carry.
“It’s powerful, powerful, it has everything you want,” he said, “and you have to be careful when you ride it.”
It is also very rare: a little over 1200 copies of this supercar were made during its limited serial production from 2004 to 2006.
Strahan also loves the classics. His second choice is the 1971 Ferrari Daytona, and although he is not as powerful as the Porsche, he is still enthusiastic. Strahan loves sleek lines and classic style, as well as several other delights.
“You smell like gas when you get out of it,” he said. "I mean, there is nothing sexier than a man who smells of gasoline."
