Las Vegas Photos and Photos in Paris from the Half Marathon
Hello! I just launched Rock N Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon and got so many tips, photos and exciting performances! I'm going to start with the race show and the hotel – and I will be back soon with a run that I ate and other thoughts about the race, known as the Strip At Night. Did you run it? Let me know![Thisisamessagetothetraveleronawake-uptoastop-and-break-and-ride-and-run-by-the-furiousoneinthenexttime-plus-video-if-to-be—tolearntoknowmorewiththislookatmyinstallation[ThispostisaboutthetravelsideofmyraceweekendRunningandnutritionusifoiscomingsoon–plusavideoIfyouwantmoreonthatnowcheckoutmyinsta[Этосообщениеопутевойпоездкемоегогоночногоуик-эндаБегипитаниеifoвближайшеевремя-плюсвидеоЕсливыхотитеузнатьбольшеобэтомпосмотритемоюинсталляцию[ThispostisaboutthetravelsideofmyraceweekendRunningandnutritionifoiscomingsoon–plusavideoIfyouwantmoreonthatnowcheckoutmyinsta@RunEatRepeat ]
Okay … now let's talk about travel, hotel, logistics and food in Las Vegas.
I flew from the Orange District to Las Vegas with no problems. This is 1 hour flight! (Or 4 hours drive.) I made both a drive and a flight to this – a trip to Vegas is a regular car ride when you live in Southern California. Flying vs. Driving depends on who I travel with. For both, there are pros and cons.
Packing for Las Vegas and packing for half the marathon … since it was a trip to RUN and FUN, I had to make sure that I had everything I needed for the PLUS race to go out. Usually when I travel for a race, I just do it with comfortable, casual clothes. In Vegas, uncomfortable shoes and 4 different types of eyeliner are sometimes required.
In the suitcase (clockwise):
Brooks happy pace bag – used as my airplane wallet // flower suit for body // belt // comfortable jacket // gallon bag size with running objects // Running shoes // comfortable clothes // naked heels // all packaged in my pink carrying for short rides.
* Check out my packing list on the day of the race for more information on how to pack for destination race *
When I got to Las Vegas, I went to the hotel to get things down before I went to the exhibition.
I stayed in the hotel "Paris" and the casino on the strip. This super-fun hotel right in the middle of the strip is the perfect place for everything you want! The room was standard – a large bed, a desk, a seating area, a mini-fridge, an iron, a hairdryer, a shower and a bath (in my last hotels there was only a shower, and I brought Epson bath salts – this time I didn’t bring them).
Pro Tip: Unpack when you get to the place where you left off before going to the exhibition. Lay out what you will wear for running, and from head to toe check that you have everything. Thus, if you forget something, you can try to get it at the exhibition.
Many people lay out their "Flat Runner" before the race and divide it into facebook and / or InstagramYou do not have to wait until night to do this, and this gives you a chance to make sure you have everything …
Exclusive racing Rock N Roll Race is always very big and exciting!
And Brooks is the main sponsor of the RnR Race series, so they have a whole store Running shoes, chassis, etc., indicating the place / name of the race on it. I'm a big fan of Brooks, so I liked it!
Bowtie Shoes still one of my favorites, and I saw them everywhere!
Hello and Night life! Make sure that you have a chassis that is visible in low light and dark conditions – be safe!
After the exhibition, I took my things back to the hotel, then it was time to enjoy Las Vegas! There are so many things to see and IS in Vegas!
The Paris Hotel has many amazing dishes and drinks. (So many hotels do – there are a lot of options!) You can sit at dinner and watch a lot of people – all in a cheerful mood. On past trips, I had a lot of delicious food in Las Vegas – this is definitely another reason to visit.
Love, when the side dish is edible! My favorite drink had an edible flower!
There is a restaurant in the Eiffel Tower too! They have trendy cocktails and stunning views of the strip.
This cocktail has egg white – I thought it was great …
Interesting fact: I have never been to a big show in Las Vegas, for example, Cirque de Sole or Britney Spears or J Lo … I've visited Vegas many times, I'm surprised.
Next. May be. Tell me if there MUST show that I have to get tickets next time.
Speaking of the following …
The race and what I ate on the day of the race before the half marathon, the next one!
