Joining a running group can ease anxiety, depression, and stress.
Health and fitness

In addition to helping you remain accountable and making learning more enjoyable, there is a great reason to join the running group.
Researchers at McMaster University in Canada found that people struggling with mental health problems who joined the running group experienced a significant decrease in anxiety, depression, and stress.
The program, which was held twice a week for three months, ended with the group participating in a local 5K.
Experts believe that this is partly endorphins and other hormones that help reduce stress, but this is also a partnership.
