I will keep this entry short and sweet. In anticipation of the holidays, we all saw our share of Cyber Monday sales and coupon codes for almost everything. It is worth noting, however, that some of the greatest gifts are not for sale and never will be. Even the smartest in the world cannot monetize intangible assets such as discipline and perseverance.
Ironically, these freely available intangible assets cost more than any training program, product or application that you will ever find. With that in mind, be sure to buy yourself this holiday season at a store within. It is here that you can always find the biggest gifts, and your bank account will also be grateful.
In my last entry, I ended up with a quote from Warren Buffett, where he said that price is what you pay, and value is what you get. He probably did not talk about intangible qualities when he made this statement, but this, of course, is relevant to today's topic. The fact that intangible assets are freely available does not reduce their value.
Intangible assets are free, but priceless, and they will never go out of style. So, fill these internal shopping baskets with purchases of all intangible assets that you can handle. Your future, I will be grateful to you.
