These tips for planning your running or racing calendar can work for runners or all levels. Make sure you set goals that are relevant to you. Your goals should be related to your fitness, health, goals, priorities, time, resources, etc. Don't let other people on social networks or around you influence how you feel about yourself and your goals.
Planning your racing calendar:
1. Set goals
Set 3 goals – they can all be running targets or a combination or running and fitness goals
2. Race List
list the races you want to do, the races that you run each year, the potential races on the goals …
3. Important Dates
mark any important dates / events / other and mark race dates – check if there are conflicts
4. Evaluate your goals, dates, schedule, your health / life priorities
complete the races you can do
5. Go!
