Best Skin Care at Age 30: Millennium Skin Care

See what the daughter of a dermatologist uses at the age of 30 to keep her skin healthy and looking good. Many people ask about the best way to take care of your skin at age 30. Misha, the daughter of award-winning dermatologist and skin care expert Dr. Cynthia Bailey, has a simple, effective procedure that works very well for her face. Millennium skin care is a hot topic, and Misha, a busy millennium, tells you about the products she uses.
What is the best skin care for millennials aged 30?
If your mom were a dermatologist and you had access to all the best skin health products and information that you would like, what would you use?
In my last video, Misha talks about her routine and why she uses the products that she makes. Find out how they work to make her complexion look great and why she likes the products she uses every day.
As a mother, I am very proud of my thousand-year-old daughter. She grew up to become a wise and thoughtful young woman. Mom and the dermatologist in me are also comforted by the fact that Misha takes good care of his skin. I have been giving her extensive advice on this subject for 34 years. She did not take all of this (actually in any subject!), But she included some really important points. Millennial does things differently than we baby boomers do. This includes how they make personal care decisions regarding skin care choices. I hope that sharing what Misha decided is interesting to people aged 30, as well as their parents in my generation.
See how Misha has created a powerful skin care program that matches her priorities and values, and that helps control her skin problems.
Misha’s procedure is also very good at resisting signs of skin aging. She grew up enjoying outdoor life under the strong California sun, which is a problem for any complexion. Her choice of skin care products works well to keep her skin young, healthy and attractive.

In our video interview, Misha shares what she prefers. natural products and minimalist lifestyle.
Misha's targeted routine focuses on three goals:
- anti aging skin care
- preventing sun damage and
- control her skin problems.
Like many millennials at the age of 30, Misha's biggest skin problems are noticeable facial pores, facial flushing (usually caused by seborrheic dermatitis or rosacea) and pilaritis keratosis (often found in adolescents and young people and often referred to as “chicken skin”) .
Misha was disturbed by the early signs of sun damage on her skin, which she noticed as crow's feet. As a dermatologist, I know that crow's feet are often the earliest signs of sun damage in the 30s. The early signs of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes were Misha’s first motivation for adding products that stimulate collagen renewal to combat signs of skin aging. Find out how she addressed them in her video interview.

As a dermatologist, I know that your skin care should change and develop with you as you grow older.
Cynthia Bailey, MD
The best skin care products for Millennials at the age of 30 are different from the best at the age of 20 to 40.
This was true for Misha. She said,
My skin care regimen has evolved over the past couple of years, as I became a little more responsible and was able to incorporate mom's advice into what I do. As you probably know, there is so much information on mom’s site, and reading it has definitely changed my skin care routine.
Misha Bailey, 34-year-old daughter of Dr. Cynthia Bailey
As Misha’s mother, I know that her interest in skin care increased when she got older. She was fortunate to have pretty unpretentious skin in her teens and twenties. Even undemanding skin requires more attention with age.
What does the 34-year-old dermatologist's daughter use for her skin care routine?
MISHA SKIN CARE

Evening skin care: Misha washes most nights with Clarisonic Brush and Naturally Best Bar Soap – when she is not lazy. Then she wipes the skin with a tonic natural moisturizing pore substance. She said,

I like this toner because it cleanses the skin very well and the pink water smells great. I also love this because it is non-toxic and I am a kind of hippie.

After cleansing, Misha applies antioxidant therapy for the skin with green tea and 15% face cream with glycolic acid. These products help fight the signs of skin aging. Green tea antioxidants help control Misha’s tendency to have red and flaky face skin secondary to seborrhea. For many years she took retinol or retin A at night, but now she has stopped using the retinoid (and another 9 months – she winked!).

Morning skin care: In the morning, Misha either washes Naturally Best Bar soap, or simply sprinkles water on his face (which, according to the mother of a dermatologist, is wonderful!). Twice a week she exfoliates with an exfoliating bamboo and clay scrub in the shower.
After cleansing, Misha applies instantly radiant serum and an antioxidant cream for green tea. These are such popular and favorite products that I created my Layered Up Besties package with them.

One of her favorite things about this skin care procedure is how great she feels after a bamboo scrub, followed by luminous serum and green tea. Sometimes she applies a natural face and body lotion to these products. She always uses SPF 50 Sheer Strength Pure Physical Tinted sunscreen (Derm-Mom delighted!).

My dermatological analysis of Misha's facial skin care procedure

- it uses powerful active substances that stimulate collagen renewal to fix signs of skin aging (glycolic acid and / or retinol or retin-A),
- she uses natural skin moisturizer her skin to maintain a healthy skin barrier,

- she combined the best professional-grade cosmetic active ingredients with products that contain organic herbal ingredients and / or natural compounds.

Misha has created a routine that is a great example of the best skin care in your 30s. Her routine is focused, effective and powerful! it's the same Dr. Bailey Complete Skin Care Routine able to achieve maximum results – its products cover all the physiological needs of healthy skin, including CLEAN, RIGHT, HYDRATE, PROTECTIVE.
MISHA'S BODY CARE SOLUTION
Misha used the same shower for years, because it helps very well to fight keratosis of Pilaris. In fact, she “swears by him”! It exfoliates and cleanses the skin of the body with a Salux wipe and a body wash with glycolic acid. After it has dried, it applies body lotion with glycolic acid to hands and feet and applies a natural face and body lotion to the rest of the skin of the body. All body exfoliators are available in my ultra-fast AHA Kit for smoothing the body.

Misha the sun also protects the skin of her body, which is important to combat aging of the skin on the neck, chest, arms and legs! She knows from me that sun damage in these areas of the skin is really hard to reverse; prevention of skin damage from the sun is very important! Misha applies a really good sunscreen based on zinc oxide with a wide spectrum of action on the entire skin of his body. On an average day, she applies SPF 50+ Sheer Strength Pure Physical sunscreen on her neck, chest, and back of her arms.

If she is more physically active, for example, in the garden or on a hike, then she uses Solbar Zinc sunscreen.

How does Misha know that her skin care is very important for her skin to look and feel good?
Misha says that
When I run out of foods such as green tea or body lotion with glycolic acid, or I am lazy and relaxing when washing with a Salux napkin and glycolic acid in the shower, I really notice that my skin problems come back … I also note that when I am lazy with a Clarisonic brush and do not use toner, my facial pores become more visible.

This is a good way to test your skin care. From time to time, use “holidays” – intentionally or unintentionally. See how your skin looks and feels. This is a good way to find out if it's time to make some changes to your skin care routine. Your skin, like your life as a whole, develops over time. What works yesterday may require reevaluation tomorrow. Like Misha, you can create a procedure for the best skin care in your 30s.
Misha is lucky because she has pretty good skin overall, but we all want the best skin we can. Her routine works well, and her mom is proud of her! As her mother, I know that her use of anti-aging products, antioxidants, and sunscreen developed when she was 30 years old. Misha had only a few sunburns in her life, and her mother is also very proud !!
I want to note that Misha also improved the quality of the daily sunscreen she uses, as the technology has created an even wider range of zinc oxide products. Sheer Strength Pure Physical Sunscreen is the best and most advanced technology to date. These are elegant, invisible and weightless products made of pure zinc oxide that provide protection against the SPF 50. They also do not contain oil and do not clog pores and do not cause acne. Misha’s transition to them facilitates her use and gives the skin better protection against aging from sunlight.
