5 days for stronger you: Strength training – True training
If you have been around the Faithful Workouts community for a while, you know how serious I am about strength training and a lot of reasons!
1. Improve metabolism
Strength training is the best way to improve your metabolism, because muscles burn calories faster than fat. When you increase muscle mass, you increase your metabolism, allowing the body to burn more calories and why each exercise program should include weight training.
2. Prevents damage
Studies show that tons of back and knee joint operations could be avoided with proper strength training, because by improving the strength of muscles, tendons and even ligaments and bones, they are less prone to injury. By building stronger muscles and tendons, we help them maintain proper body position while protecting bones and joints.
3. Long term
Strength training ensures our bodies durability. Athletes who want to be active in sports such as tennis, basketball, jogging, cycling, will be able to enjoy this activity for many more years, adding strength training to their activities.
It is important to note that space reduction does not work. We should not focus only one area of our bodies, because we want it to be more slender. Strengthening our body as a whole is important in order to enjoy mobility and agility for many years.
Considering these reasons, I want to challenge you to focus on strengthening your body by doing strength training over the next 5 days with these workouts and see what difference in how you feel.
