10 ways to deal with anxiety and depression – the right workout

March 30, 2018 by

4) Make the time slow down

Especially for those who suffer from anxiety, take, stop, relax and breathe So important. Our world is an extremely busy and suitable type of place. Our minds can be so busy and so filled and always think about what will happen next – and this can make fear worse. It is very important to make time for rest, and it is not selfish! Both our brains and bodies demand it. Spend time for 5 minutes and exhale for 5 points or make yourself some tea or coffee and sit with your bible. Let your mind and body be still and you will begin to see the benefits.

5) Consider counseling

Talking to someone about what you are experiencing can be extremely helpful when working with mood disorders. Sometimes there can be shame associated with visiting a consultation, as if something is broken or wrong with us if we go. Not the case. If you have a broken arm, you are not ashamed to go to the doctor. Similarly, if there is something in our mind that needs help and healing, there is no shame in seeking help for it. Going for a consultation is a personal choice, and although it may take several visits to find the right consultant for you, it may be worth it.

6) Dance!

This may surprise you, but in fact the dances were a great fighter of depression. Studies like this have shown that dancing can reduce feelings of depression in both adolescents and adults. It doesn't matter if you feel like you are a bad dancer or that you look silly, just dance! Try one of our Pazaz dance workouts like this short 10-minute mood booster.

7) Lose weight

When we dive into a wave of anxiety and depression, the last thing we want to do is laugh … But in fact, this is what we need most. Is there a funny video or movie or song that is stupid or a way to make you laugh? It sounds easy, but even a few seconds of laughter can really help brighten up your mood. These two videos dog who does not want his owner to get out of bed and bird revealing his love for drummers, there is always a way to make me smile.

8) Turn to healthy food.

When we feel worried or depressed, we begin to crave high-fat, highly processed foods that are often loaded with tons of sugar and salt and other unhealthy ingredients. These types of foods are harmful to our brain and can make us feel even more “blah” than before. Try taking a few hours one day (maybe the day you feel a little better) and just prepare a bunch of healthy meals and snacks ready for the rest of the week. Thus, when you feel low, you will have some healthy alternatives to choose from. Try our 5-day menu plan here!

9) Try to set small goals

Setting goals can be important to achieve progress among depression or anxiety. Try to set small goals, you can think of them as children. Maybe you want to make your bed every day this week, or maybe you want to try to turn into healthy snacks, and not snack on chips or chocolate. These goals can help you feel a sense of purpose and achievement, no matter how large or small.

10) Semantic hallucinations

Depression and anxiety have a way to make us feel that something is wrong with us. For example, if we were just the best Christians, we would not deal with these problems. I want to tell you this lies! Just because you are dealing with an anxious or depressed mind. does not mean what you worry is your fault. Listening to this lie will only further spread the cycles of anxiety or depression. Instead, cover yourself with God's truth! Listen to the song below and remind yourself not to buy lies. You are worthy, and you are loved and ashamed of you.
